Passione Amiga Day 2026 · Sixth edition
Following the success of its first five editions, Passione Amiga Day returns — the annual event for enthusiasts of the Commodore Amiga, the last great home computer, produced in various versions from the second half of the 1980s until the parent company's bankruptcy in 1994.
This computer has never stopped being appreciated by thousands of users around the world and is still kept alive today through operating system updates, new accelerator boards and a wide range of software, both for gaming and professional use.
In Spoleto, hundreds of Italian Amiga users will gather to buy hardware and software from commercial exhibitors, take part in the second-hand market, attend talks and meet Italian and international guests. The event is organised by Passione Amiga, the Italian-language print magazine for Amiga enthusiasts, published and distributed worldwide through an agreement with Amazon.
One moment, please!
Admission stays free again this year. But we need a small hand: with even just €1 you can help us cover the organisation costs and the travel, board and lodging for our international guests.

Passione Amiga Awards
Have you made an unreleased video game, program, utility, demo, music disk, slideshow, disk magazine or compilation for Amiga? Take part: during Passione Amiga Day every visitor will be able to vote for the best production.
Any previously unreleased Amiga production (Classic or NG) with compiled executable code may take part. A video game is eligible even if partially completed, as long as at least one complete level is present. A maximum of one production per entrant is allowed, and it must run on AmigaOS 1.3, 3.0 or 4.0.
Send your production as an attachment to awards@passioneamiga.it.
Entries open until 1 September 2026
All competing productions will be shown during the event. Once voting closes, the top three entrants will be declared, each receiving a complimentary medal.
The award is dedicated to the best new Amiga creations. Each production must fall into one of the categories listed on the left.
The production must run on at least one of AmigaOS 1.3, 3.0 or 4.0.
Each entrant may submit at most one production, provided it has never been released before.

Location
The event is held right in the historic centre, in Piazza Garibaldi. It takes place outdoors and will run even if it rains, sheltered under the canopies.
About Spoleto
Spoleto blends the modern and the historic in a centre unlike any other in the world — fittingly, it was the set for seasons 9 and 10 of the RAI series "Don Matteo". Make the most of it for a weekend of art, food and wine.
The alternative-mobility car parks connect to the centre via escalators and lifts. We advise against the paid parking in Piazza Garibaldi: the hourly rate is higher than in the rest of the city.
